Customer Portal Registration
As we anticipate scheduling fiber installations in your area, we will direct you to our customer portal to complete the onboarding process required prior to scheduling your fiber-optic installation. Before installation, we will verify your property is within our coverage area and if it falls within a grant area. We typically locate our outdoor equipment near your electric meter. A site survey to determine the best placement for your fiber-optic equipment may be needed.
Equipment
Your fiber service will likely follow the path of your electric service to your location. Methow Fiber Technicians or contractors will install the Network Interface Device (NID) on the exterior of your home or business, typically near the electric meter. This device communicates with the fiber network to deliver your Internet service. Methownet, LLC Technicians will wire or replace Ethernet cables into your building and set up the primary router indoors. The installation may require multiple visits to your location. Finally, the fiber will be activated by the Methow Fiber Network.

After Installation
Once your fiber-optic internet connection is activated, it will be ready to use. Beyond the initial connection verification, our support team can assist you in setting up your Wi-Fi network, connecting devices, or troubleshooting your existing network. This service is billed at an hourly rate.
